SRI VIBUDHENDRA THEERTHA, THE 11TH PONTIFF FROM SRIMAN MADHWACHARYA OF MOOLA MAHASAMSTHANA, SRI RAGHAVENDRASWAMY MUTT, VIDYA MUTT, WAS CAMPING ON THE BANKS OF KRISHNA RIVER, HAD A DREAM AND GOT AN IDOL OF LORD SRI NARASIMHA HAVING SIXTEEN HANDS FROM THIS RIVER. THAT IS CALLED AS 'SHODHASHA BAAHU NARASIMHA'
 
EVEN TO THIS DATE IT IS BEING WORSHIPPED IN MAHASAMSTHANA ONCE IN A YEAR ON THE AUSPICIOUS DAY OF 'SRI NARASIMHA JAYANTHI, BY PONTIFF OF SRI MUTT, DULY PERFORMING MAHAABHISHEKA, WITH MILK-CURD-GHEE-HONEY-BANANA AND TENDER COCONUTA AND AFTER WARDS THE IDOL WILL BE DECORATED BY SANDLE PASTE (GANDHA LEPANA).
 
THE PRESENT PEETADHIPATHI OF SRI MUTT, SRI SUBUDHENDRATHEERTHA SWAMIJI HAS PERFORMED ' SRI NARASIMHA JAYANTHI' AT BANGALORE SRI RAGHAVENDRA MUTT AT JAYANAGAR IN A GRAND SCALE AND IT WAS A VERY GLORIOUS SPECTACLE.
