H.H. Shri Suyateendra Teertha Shreepadangalavaru is desirous of offering a NavaRatna Ratha (Gem Studded Golden Chariot) to Sri Raghavendra Teertha GuruSarvabhoumaru. The construction work of the ratha has been entrusted to “HANUMANTHAPURAM PALLAKI SEVA TRUST”

You are aware that the carnatic musicians mainly from Chennai among other places in South India offer a very unique seva called Nadhahaaram on the occasion of the Vardanthi of Swamigal since 2005. The coming year 2013 is the 9th year of Nadhaharam to be conducted on his Vardanthi and on this occasion the said 20 feet high Navarathna Ratha is going to be offered to the Great Saint.

This Navarathna Ratha is being constructed by chosen architects who are specialists in this field for the 4th generation at an estimated cost of 1.25 crores with gold and over 6 lakh numbers of valuable gemstones. The upper part of the ratha will have the rupas of Lord Narasimha, Lord Hayagreeva, Lord Rama, Lord Santhanagopala, Lord Vaikuntavasudhevaru, Lord Venkateshwara, Lord Udupi Krishna & Panchamukha Anjaneya and the lower part will have the Gurusthothra (Sri Purnabodha……..) engraved with precious stones.

The Ratha is nearing completion with less than 50 percent of the constructoin work remaining. However, it needs generous contributions from devotees. The contributions towards this noble Navarathnaratha Seva may please be sent through cheques or demand drafts favouring “HANUMANTHAPURAM PALLAKI SEVA TRUST” payable at Chennai to the trust address.
